Michelle is passionate about creating a safe space for students and horses to discover new levels of communication, together. Through developing a greater sense of self awareness, we are better able to understand and utilize communication dynamics that honor the horse's input.

"Nothing brings me more joy than to see a horse and human feel empowered to express the best versions of themselves."

A lifelong horse lover, Michelle has spent time in many sectors of the equine industry. From showing Arabians at the national level as a young trainer, to gathering cattle on a 30,000 acre ranch in AZ, showing 5-gaited saddlebreds in college, reining, colt starting, driving, beginning level eventing, pack trips through the mountains, successfully competing in dressage through 3rd level, graduating from the USDF "L" program to judge dressage schooling shows, and being a professional in the Parelli program for several years. You name it, she's tried it.

A continual student of the horse, Michelle has taken several courses with Jillian Kreinbring on equine anatomy and biomechanics. She has studied saddle fit with Carol Brett and Lesley Taylor of Balance Saddles, Jochen Schleese of Schleese Saddlery, and Letitia Glenn of Natural Horseman Saddles, to learn all she could about saddle fit for horse and human. Currently she is enjoying diving into Emotional Horsemanship with Lockie Phillips.

"I am so fortunate to get to do what I love in such a beautiful location every day, Troy and I are thrilled to be able to share it with you!"
